Colors

Decisions, decisions! While colors are fun to choose from and can do so much to enhance your home, we have just a couple of suggestions:

1 - The lighter the color, the easier to maintain.

2 - The lighter the color, the larger the room feels.

3 - If fixing up the home to sell, very few buyers object to white in the bathroom. The bathroom shows well and most often white matches the sink and toilet, making a matching bathroom set: tub, sink, toilet.

4 - While other refinishers may refinish in dark colors, and with the exception of our Multi-Stone or Multi-Flex colors, we do not. We will give you any medium to light color you wish, but experience has shown us that the darker colors just are not practical from a maintenance standpoint.

CHOICES: Color can be any standard solid color or, we can refinish anything in a granite like finish called Multi-Stone. They’re sometimes referred to as Multi-Spec or Multi-flex. When we mention them we use the term to describe them, inclusively, as Multi-Stone.

Solid Colors

In the past we have made efforts to provide for you on these web pages, colors to choose from. Experience has taught us though, that each one of our computer monitors pick up the colors differently and more likely than not, the color shown on your monitor will not be the exact color of the manufactures color chip.

We have found from experience, it is best and less time consuming for all of us to direct you to go to a Home Improvement store, such as Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware or a commercial store . There you can pick any medium to light color chip, give us the name of the manufacture and color code on the chip and we can mix or have that color mixed into our product. This will assure we are able to give you the most exact color match possible. Another source for picking a color could be to go a store that sells bathroom products such as toilets, tubs, sinks etc. and tell us the brand and color of that specific manufactures product i.e. Kohler Almond, or American Standard bone, Toto Silver, etc. You can pick up a color chip at any of the stores and call us with the color chip information and we can then match the color. Just note the material we reglaze with will normally be a high gloss of the color chosen.

From experience, we have found that the lighter the color the easier the maintenance is for the bath. White or beige almond tones being the most preferred. We will not mix or do colors that are dark, only medium to light colors. We do that because we know, from experience and feedback you will soon become disgusted with yourself for choosing those hard to maintain dark colors. If you really, really want a dark color you might want to look into the Multi-stone colors mentioned below, those are the only dark colors we will refinish with.

You can combine colors to make a custom bath. Most people, for cost effective purposes, will have us refinish their tub and wall surround in one solid color. That is, refinish the tub and tile both in the same solid color. It is less expensive that way. But, We can make the tub one color, the walls another. We can even add accent lines if you wish. That would be: Make the tub one color, say blue, make the tile around it bone, then accent one row of the tile the same color blue as the tub. It can be fun to customize a bathroom like this, but it does cost a little bit more and usually takes part of a second day, thus tying up your bath and having us working in your home a little longer.

MULTI-STONE/SPEC COLORS:

These products have really added a new way of modernizing your bathroom without the inconvenience of ripping out your old. They allow us to put a granite appearance on your countertops, walls around your bath, and it is especially great for updating the old cultured marble walls and ceramic tile showers. Those old stained, chipped corean, cultured marble countertops can really be revitalized with the Multi-Stone (MS). This product has proven to be especially easy to maintain and durable. I have included a small sampling of our Multi-Stone color choices. If interested and you are pretty sure you want to go with Multi-Stone on your refinishing product, when you contact us we can schedule a time for us to bring out real samples for you to choose from. This will give you a chance to see the color as it will be after it is applied.

Below is a sample case of many of the Multi-Stone colors available and we have others even some with metallic metal background accents like Gold, Platinum and Silver:
